Yaşar University has accepted scientific approach, human orientation, social responsibility, internationality and innovation as its values, and in line with its vision and mission, it updates its corporate values and strategic goals in five-year periods and secures all its processes with quality management. Yaşar University offers a quality higher education and scientific research environment, which is guaranteed by its quality policy and with the understanding of continuous improvement based on strategic plans. Yasar University undertakes its commitment to quality and its responsibilities with the Quality Assurance Directive. The quality assurance system and sub-systems, which constitute the quality policy of Yaşar University, ensure quality for all its stakeholders, execute, review and take precautions when necessary. It defines the measurement and reporting processes related to quality assurance, determination, monitoring, updating and continuous improvement of standards in line with the University’s strategic plan. Thus, the functioning of the quality assurance system and its subsystems is monitored, measured and reported with qualitative and quantitative performance metrics.
OUR UNIT’S QUALITY POLICY
It is possible to create a barrier-free university by removing the restrictions of disabled individuals in their university life, primarily by raising awareness. As Yaşar University Unit for Students with Disabilities, our quality policy was established in order to provide equal access and support to everyone by making the necessary accommodations to minimize the barriers that our students with special needs may encounter in their academic and social lives on campus.
Our quality processes are based on the determination of reasonable adaptations of our students with special needs, from the first enrollment stage to their graduation, in the education process, and following up and updating these adaptations when it is necessary. Our focus in workflow processes is to ensure that the relevant activities are carried out systematically and effectively through the unit representatives. Accordingly, our unit operations are carried out within the scope of the work flows and our plan-do-check-act (PDCA) processes, as detailed in the below documents.
